Chamber Music of the Rockies, Young Artist Program June 12-26th, 2011; Adult Amateur Program June 20-26th, 2011.

The Quartet has been named Artistic Directors for Chamber Music of the Rockies Festival in Beaver Creek, CO.  The Chamber Music of the Rockies is a 17-year old summer program held each June in Beaver Creek, Colorado devoted to providing excellent chamber music instruction and performance opportunities to string players and pianists.  Dates for Young Artist Program run 12th-26th June, 2011.  Dates for NEW ADULT AMATEUR PROGRAM run 20th-26th of June, 2011. Open to violin, viola, cello and piano.

 

Perlman Music Program/Suncoast Residency

The Vincas serve as the Quartet in Residence for the Perlman Music Program/Suncoast in Sarasota, FL for the academic year 2010-2011.   We serve 12 schools and over 3000 students over the year.

 

Matching Grant

We are very proud to announce that the quartet is the recipient of a generous private offer of a 25k matching grant, given in honor of Sally and George Lerman.  Please help us to match this offer before it expires in May 2011.

 

Germany 2010-2011

The Vinca Quartet is proud to announce that all four members have been chosen by the German Government to be DAAD scholars.  This award enables them to live and study in Stuttgart, Germany for the academic year 2010-2011, where they serve as the graduate quartet in residence under the mentorship of the Vogler Quartet at the Stuttgart Hochschule fuer Musik und Darstellende Kunst.
